This work is an installation born from a collaboration with Kori Koolman.

It quietly portrays the emotional landscape of facing loss and the unbridgeable distances between individuals, using space, photography, and sound as its medium.

Four black huts are arranged like a small village, each symbolizing a “house” of personal memories related to death.

The installation seeks to give experiential form to the “space in between” — the gap between memories that can be shared with others and those that remain unreachable.

By inviting viewers to reflect on their own inner memories and emotions, the work offers a quiet, introspective encounter with what lies within us all.
