Perfect Harmony is an installation from the REALM series that explores how human beings perceive existence.
Within the 360-degree video, the viewer exists as a bodiless witness inhabiting a single space. There, multiple presences become aware of one another, gradually forming a shared world through their mutual recognition.
The video was filmed within the actual installation environment. When viewers remove the VR headset, they return physically to the very space they had just inhabited virtually. Through this movement between virtual and physical space, the boundaries between body and consciousness, observer and observed, and reality and representation begin to dissolve.
Rather than suggesting that existence is determined solely by material presence, the work questions the possibility that existence emerges through perception and relationships between beings.
